Within a few minutes of me posting this little bit of information, Matt Mullenweg posted on the bbPress.org Blog in regards to the WordPress Integration, and why he believes that it's the way to go forward (which I'd tend to agree with, maybe unlike before when the news first broke!)

Think I might have to write another little post with a few other thoughts I currently have, so far I like the new lighter design that matches in with WordPress 3.0 - Not forgetting the change in blog on WordPress.org from /development/ to /news/ which works well! :)

Personally I'd say it's still missing 99% of what I listed above, for the simple reason that WordPress.org isn't just run on a single install yet, the Codex still uses that MediaWiki thing, I still have to login to everything over at the site! :( But hey, still a few months left yet to get all that done!

Funny you should mention that Ron, after I switched the PC off last night and headed to bed, I thought the exact same thing while trying to get to sleep! :P And yes I do agree, if we didn't take into account the file size(s) though?

I'd be interested in seeing people come up with header image addon packs for it. The images added about 400K to the WP zip, so I would not have been in favor of adding more in the WP distro.
